This warm season annual bunch grass is the fastest growing millet that grows leafy grass that grows 3-6 feet and produces a really nice quality forage as well as a bird seed. Seed performs well in mixes. Ready to harvest within 75 days. Very fine stems and leaves allows plant material to dry down effectively for dry hay production. A very effective erosion crop, much like oats, stabilizes hilly slopes and provides cover for slower growing species to become established. An excellent regenerating food plot for wildlife. Plant from early until harvest can be performed before first frost.  Tolerates low fertile and acidic soils making this a good way to add organic matter to the soil.  Great for quail, ducks and doves. Proso Millet will produces well during hot weather conditions.
