This medium sized tree blooms bright tendrils of yellow flowers that adorn thorny branches of high density small leaves.  pollinators of all kinds will be drawn to the lovely pendulous flowers. The tree is native to tropical Asia.  Acacia has an advantage in that it can withstand a moderate drought, since its leaves are retained even in long dry periods.  The leaves which are one of the plant’s key attributes and are made up of 9-30 pairs of long thin leaves that go down a stem. The tree is deciduous so some seasonal leaf drop is normal.
