Clusters of soft pink blossoms accent dark green slender leaves on a compact shrub that bloom periodically from April to November. Drought and salt tolerant and can be found growing along coastal waters. Perfect for all types of gardens including xeriscapes. For the look of the Mediterranean this plant cannot be surpassed. Plants also make a fine hedge and grow 6-10 feet but cannot tolerate heavy frosts. All parts of this plant are toxic and should never be ingested, so caution needs to be exercised. A Southern favorite!
This widely adaptable plant can be used for a wide range of uses including, standard specimen as well as the house or greenhouse. It makes the perfect patio plant but, will need protection from frost. Keep plant well watered until established.
