    Nestled among bright yellow flowers of this, fast growing vining melon from tropical regions, are long fibrous fruits that can be dried and used as a natural sponge. In some parts of the world it is harvested when very young and used as a vegetable. Fruits grow 12-24" long. Sow seed and grow like annual melon or squash.
