A small tree with interestingly shaped trunks that grow from straight to crooked giving it the perfect look for a weathered tree in bonsai culture. Bark is dark brown and fissured. Yellow flowers bloom from March to May accenting long and pointed shaped lush green foliage

Fun Facts:
1.Wood is used to make furniture and tool handles
2.The seed contains 30% oil and is used for industrial purposes
3.Germination is hypogeal, the cotyledons are therefore never visible above the ground
