Hickory King White Corn
This heirloom from the late 1800’s will grow 9 inch ears with 12-16 rows of beautiful white traditional dent corn. One of the best all around corn varieties still available. Pick young for corn on the cob. Let mature for corn flour, hominy, masa harina (chip and tamale flour), corn bread, muffins, hush puppies, fritters, corn soup, posole and so much more! You can even make your own corn nuts. Stalks grow 8 – 12 feet. Perfect for roasting on the barbeque. Grows well in poor soils.
