An annual or short lived perennial closely related to the more common sunflower. Widely cultivated throughout South Asia. Multi -branched, with bright green leaves, blooming small white daisy-like flowers. It is used among many cultures as a healing treatment for a variety of conditions. We recommend growing this plant as a container plant. Seeds need light to germiante so must be planted on top of soil and not covered- germination occurs best at very high temeratures in wet soil.
