A beautiful evergreen shrub or small tree with bright green, ribbed leaves make the perfect backdrop to large, stunning white blooms with mild yellow centers that are active with all kinds of life. Green – yellow fruits follow that elephants love to eat. 

The small medium size of this tropical tree makes it an ideal species for bonsai. Prefers sunlight, and is drought tolerant.

This widely adaptable tree can be used for a wide range of uses including, standard specimen as well as the greenhouse. It makes the perfect patio plant but, will need protection from frost. Keep tree well watered until established.

1.In India the fruit is not commercially cultivated by is found only in the wild
2.Because it is a main source of food for elephants, monkeys and deer, collection of fruit from certain areas of the forest are prohibited
3.The fruit pulp is sour but is used in Indian cuisine for curries

Adaptable to most soil conditions, and gardening types, specimen plantings, deck gardens as well as houseplants.
