A classic flat bean with a distinctive, nutty flavor and smooth buttery texture. Mottled beans are light cream with splashes of brown and sometimes maroon. Pole type plants are loaded with long, 8-10” flat-podded, beans right up to frost. This bean is featured in many gourmet recipes. Use as a green shell bean or dry bean. Markings remain through cooking.
Vigorous vines grow to about 10 Feet. Perfect for the home garden and market gardens alike.
