    The story goes that this variety was developed specifically to provide fresh tomatoes to troops stationed in Greenland in the 1940's.  The perfect tomato to get started on an early garden! Grows well in cold climates and is ready for harvest in just 50 days. Small 2 ounce tomatoes will develop in cold weather with a rich, tangy flavor.  Perfect for cool, short season climates. Sets hundreds of small, 1 to 2" fruits with a real tomato flavor.   No staking needed.  
    Donated to the USDA in 1971 from a research station in Alberta
